Pizza has been in the family since 1961. Lisa's parents, Gene and Judy Harkelroad, opened their first store in Norwalk, Ohio, and named it "The Pizza House." They owned and operated that location for more than 23 years with the help of their five children. They made their own sauce using a recipe that Pizza Quik later adopted.
The legacy of making pizza continued on to the next generation when Lisa and her husband, Rich, opened Pizza Quik.

Pizza Quik was opened in 1985 by Rich and Lisa Percival. The first restaurant was situated in the west end of Peru, Indiana. A second location later opened on U.S. 31 S.
Pizza Quik moved a few times before settling to the strip mall where it’s currently located, now there 11 years. All three of Rich and Lisa's children have been instrumental to the business’ continued success.
